Welcome to Point Hope
Thoughtfully planned trails meander throughout our community, connecting residents with the land, its history, and one another. With a walkable core of shops and restaurants plus some of the region’s top schools, Point Hope is a place where meaningful living comes naturally.
Parks & Trails
Enjoyment of the outdoors is a natural and vital part of life, and we’ve built our community to facilitate it as much as possible. Our miles-long trail network connects residents with shops, schools, parks, and other points of discovery. Following historic logging roads and nature corridors, we are locating our trails, greenways, and open spaces first, allowing the land to define the neighborhoods and the streets that serve them.
A Community of Learning
The schools at Point Hope are an integral part of the fabric of our community so much so that we ensured they were in place and welcoming students before the first home was ever built. Philip Simmons Elementary, Middle, and High Schools are part of the celebrated Berkeley County School District, all with a technology-rich, STEAM curriculum and a student-centered culture. Located just off our trails, the schools are just a walk or bike ride away for students living in Point Hope.
Homes
Deeply rooted in the heritage of the Lowcountry, the coastal contemporary home designs at Point Hope are fresh, and simple and reflect a strong connection to the outdoors. You’ll find homes with deep front porches and crisp architectural details lining the streets of Point Hope’s first two neighborhoods.
Designed with fresh, forward-thinking elements, homes at Point Hope are a reflection of the community’s connection to the outdoors. The style we’ve termed ‘coastal contemporary’ is deeply rooted in Lowcountry heritage, but with updated elements that reflect today’s lifestyles. Deep, livable front porches, generous windows, and contemporary details tastefully connect living spaces with the surrounding environment. Three of the region’s most respected builders are bringing the homes to life, beginning with First Light and Hopewell, Point Hope’s inaugural neighborhoods.
